After many years of not using this site, I have decided to redesign it. Completely. I opted to use a more minimalistic interface rather than one with many images and backgrounds. Light shadows and clean typography are the main ideas here in this new redesign. Interestingly, I found that I have become much better at programming after taking a much needed break from it. Instead of just plain coding, I am taking advantage of PHP's objects and am creating elements that are much more flexible than 4 years ago when I last redesigned this website. I'm sure that my experience with Java and Android app development helped with this improvement. Enough with the technical talk! Mektory's [Business Model Competition](http://www.ttu.ee/projects/mektory-eng/business-model-competition-3/the-competition/) is coming up. The first class is held this week (October 2nd) at 7PM. I'm planning to enter, and I have some interesting ideas to bring to the table! Besides that, there's not much else going on at TUT. Intercultural Communications is a fairly interesting class, but with only 8 classes in the entire semester, I don't expect to actually learn much.
